Bands of America Flagstaff Regional Details:
At this competition the bands were not placed but the directors were given sheets of recaps. You can view our preliminary recap here or back on the competition page. When everything was said and done we took 12th place out of 26 bands! Normally Aliso would not settle for this but in this circumstance we can make an exception. On the way to Flagstaff Arizona we stopped at Kingsman, Arizona High School and used their field to practice for four and a half hours. There we ran the first full run of our show at the end of practice. We then loaded the busses and took off for Flagstaff Arizona. Being that it was our 2nd full run in history we ran into some endurance issues in the closer. These issues can be worked with from the band running and a lot of practice. With all that said the performance was our second full run ever of this years show "A Square Peg in a Round Hole." We still did really well and the crowed loved us. We have to remember that these 26 schools were all very good and were from different parts of the country.
